Who this covers
This policy applies to the Invoice Generator iOS app published by Sajad Kumar Thapa (“we”, “us”).
What we store on your device
The app keeps the following on your iPhone or iPad, using on-device storage (including UserDefaults for settings):
- Business profile, logo, default currency, tax, and payment notes
- Clients, saved rates, invoices, and recently deleted invoices
- PDF templates you choose, and whether Pro is unlocked
- Optional backups you export as a file on the device
That information never leaves the device unless you share it yourself — for example by sending a PDF, exporting a backup, or using iOS share sheets.
What we do not collect
- We do not create an account for you
- We do not operate our own servers for invoice data
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- We do not sell or rent personal information
Camera and photos
If you allow access, the camera and photo library are used only to:
- Scan a business card or a list of what you charge (Smart Capture)
- Choose a business logo for invoice PDFs
Photos and scans are processed on the device to fill in fields. We do not upload them to our servers.
Smart Capture and Apple Intelligence
Text recognition uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework. On supported devices, optional Apple Intelligence features may tidy scanned text into client or line-item fields. We do not send that text to our own servers. Apple’s system privacy rules apply to Apple Intelligence.
Purchases
Pro subscriptions are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment, Apple ID, and restore-purchase data. We do not see your full payment details. See also Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Children
The app is meant for business invoicing, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
